You are more important than you might think.

The sense of being important for contributing something that matters in a job is the essence of human nature. Without this feeling of contribution, reaching your goals and making progress seems to be a lost case.

This feeling of worthiness is actually a key part of a theory (Progress Principle) adopted by all businesses. This principle encourages the higher authorities to praise their juniors/employees for their small or big achievements. This proves to be a great motivator to improve performance and make sure progress.

This is a workable principle when applied, as people want to feel they are also contributing to the business and industry they are working in. This principle of progress is applicable to marketing too. People feel the need to be a part of great movement, which leads to meet great goals. By participating in this by spreading word, they get the feeling of a sense of belonging which turns to loyalty.

The desire to be part of something that makes a difference, promotes improvement in productivity and processes. It also leads to more innovation and more progress. This desire to take part and contribute has to be there in every member of the workforce. Movement marketing also works on the principle wherein like-minded people get together to meet a goal.

Every individual’s participation, engagement and motivation add to the vitality in making a success of things and achieving goals.
